News: Yandere-Chan Is a Monster

Yandere-chan is not to be fucked with!

Now Senpai must notice me!

YandereDev Releases New Information About Yandere Simulator

Yandere-chan is not to be fucked with. YandereDev began work on Yandere Simulator back in 2014, and while it still has no official release date, several debug builds have been released as more features are implemented. Yandere Simulator is an open world stealth game, the objective of which is to build up Yandere-chan’s reputation whilst safe-guarding her sanity meter, so that she will be in a fit state to confess her love to Senpai. This is easier said than done however, as a rival for Senpai’s love appears once every ten weeks of in-game time, and will confess her love to him on the evening of the fifth day following her appearance. Naturally this will not stand, as Yandere-chan has too much invested in this to lose Senpai to a whore-rival who is no good for Senpai anyway! Thus it falls to Yandere-chan to utterly destroy her rival, through either character assassination or outright murder.

It is concerning these methods that YandereDev produced a video outlining some of the things that will be possible to do in the final version of the game. One of the key mechnics in the game is reputation [particularly that of Yandere-chan’s rival], which can be manipulated through a number of forms of gossip. Decreasing a rival’s reputation score to -100 or less will result in Senpai rejecting her love confession, which is all that is required to chalk up a victory for Yandere-chan. That being said, if Yandere-chan wishes to truly punish her whore-rival for having the gall to approach Senpai then she can continue attacking her reputation. As her reputation continues to lower students will begin to bully her, and eventually she will no longer be welcome around other students – making it easier for Yandere-chan to murder her and dispose of the body in the school incinerator. If Yandere-chan continues to lower her rival’s reputation from here then she will eventually commit suicide.

Gossiping is not as straight-forward as it sounds however, as the act of gossiping actually hurts Yandere-chan’s reputation too [albeit to a lesser extent], so it is important for her gossiping efforts to get the biggest bang for their buck. For starters gossiping is much more potent if Yandere-chan is telling the truth, making it beneficial to stalk rivals in order to uncover their darkest and most humiliating secrets. Gossiping is also much more effective if Yandere-chan is friends with the person she is gossiping with, making it highly beneficial for her to cultivate a wide circle of friends – a feat that is accomplished by performing tasks for them. Finally, gossiping is also enhanced if Yandere-chan is wearing the right kind of sexy panties in order to give her the confidence to persuasively make her case! Gossiping can take the form of traditional schoolyard gossip between classes, or social media gossip of the evening – which is a ‘fill in the gaps’ affair.

While building friendships is key to gossip, that is not its only function. Befriending an NPC means that Yandere-chan can ask a favour of them. For instance, if Yandere-chan wishes to murder her rival but there are other students present to witness her crime, then she might simply ask them to leave if they are friends. Yandere-chan cannot befriend school faculty, making it very difficult for her to murder rivals. This situation can be resolved by asking friends to distract them. Basically, this is a game the nobody but a complete sociopath would want to play, which is why it has quickly shot to the top of one’s list!

... It honestly wouldn't surprise me.

[PICTURED]: The Nintendo NX.

Nintendo Sends Out Development Software for NX Platform

Prior to this week it was a bafflingly common occurrence to have Nintendo fanboys swear until blue in the face that there was no way that Nintendo would release a new console in 2016. After this week surely even they must be willing to defer to the obvious, seeing as Nintendo has begun sending out development software for the NX platform. Nintendo has not as yet sent out any hardware to developers, but that does not likely matter since NX appears to be a scalable software platform rather than a specific piece of hardware. Traditionally console development has been all about the hardware, with developers able to program down to the metal and exploit very particular hardware quirks. NX development will be more like iOS development, with developers programming to the API, which will serve as an intermediary buffer between them and the actual hardware. What is clear about the NX hardware is that initial hardware offerings will consist of one home console SKU and one handheld SKU, the two of which will be able to communicate with one another in a complimentary fashion. The Wall Street Journal is also reporting that individuals close to NX development have told them that Nintendo is going with “industry-leading chips” for NX hardware – leading many game blogs to speculate that we are going to see the NX console handily besting the PS4. Due to the concept behind the project Nintendo have likely had to go with industry-leading chips for their NX handheld, but one has trouble believing that this will prove to be true for the NX home console, seeing as it essentially only has to be capable of playing back enhanced versions of NX portable games at 1080p and 60fps. That is unless developers are free to ignore the handheld in favour of developing games exclusively for the NX home console, but Nintendo has never been particularly welcoming to developers who look to disregard their ‘big picture’ marketing gimmicks.

If there was any doubt as to Nintendo’s intended publishing model, then it should be handily dispelled by the introductory text contained on the new NX developer portal. This sounds a lot like a development environment geared toward publishing to a digital storefront [with physical copies still an option], and certainly looks to be casting the same wide net as the iOS app store. The publisher submission process sounds extremely relaxed much like iOS self-publishing, though one imagines that Nintendo will still wish to maintain a high degree of control over what content appears on their NX storefront.

This new website had one goal—to make your lives easier. We’re hard at work making more and better tools to help you self-publish, digitally publish, and publish at retail.
Our plans are big, because yours are

We’ll soon have advanced project tracking and ROM submission, project-based message boards and more, helping you with every step—from concept, to publish, to counting your accolades. And as always, you’ll have the best global developer support team ever, right from the start, making the Nintendo Developer Portal your go-to resource.
Nintendo Dev Interface

Our newest gem in the box is the NDI Client. NDI stands for Nintendo Dev Interface, but it’s really going to be your new best friend. The NDI Client will help make sure you have the optimal development environment on your development system — by downloading and installing it all for you! You can tailor it to the platform you’re developing for, the SDK you want, even the region you’re working in. It allows easy download of all the relevant guidelines and documentation you need to do your work. It even allows you to update the firmware of certain development kits.”

Confusion still abounds over the configuration of NX hardware, and whether the console and handheld will retail separately or together [the latter being an unequivocal impossibility due to price factors]. That being said, Lusipurr.com is not at all uncertain about what to expect from the launch of NX. The console and handheld will retail separately, and they are unlikely to be compatible with the same game media – all the better to coax consumers into double dipping. The NX is all about flexibility and convenience, but for developers and Nintendo, not consumers. There will probably be some special software features that can only be unlocked by owning both versions of the same game. One does not find the concept of NX to be altogether unappealing, but one also could not possibly get in on the ground floor for this hardware launch after the failure that was the Wii U. It is not just that the Wii U failed to find a viable place in the home console market, it is also the way that Nintendo did not even see fit to hire a few guys to throw a few lousy ROMs up onto their digital storefront. One simply has no faith in the NX until Nintendo can prove that it is a platform worth owning.

... This news comes as a blow to us all.

Best of luck, TB!

PC Gaming Icon, TotalBiscuit, Diagnosed with Terminal Cancer

The Youtube personality behind the massively popular ‘WTF is…?’ series, and all-round decent ethical guy, John ‘TotalBiscuit’ Bain, was this week given some of the most difficult news that a cancer-survivor and young father could ever hear – the cancer was back, and this time terminal. Bain was diagnosed with cancer of the bowel in April of 2014, and after a year of chemo, radiation, and surgeries to remove the thing he announced in April of 2015 that his CT-results showed that the cancer was in complete remission. This week the unthinkable happened, Bain was informed that, while his bowel was still cancer-free, the cancer has metastasised to his liver, and that it is inoperable. The general prognosis for TotalBiscuit’s current condition is that sufferers have two-to-three years to live, though most people in his situation tend to be much older than he is. TotalBiscuit has expressed the belief that his comparative youth will buy him time, yet the time that it buys him will presumably be rather finite one imagines.

Well, I don’t know if there is really a right way to tell people this, so I guess here goes. The CT did not come back negative. The cancer in the bowel is gone, but spots have appeared in my liver. They’re not operable and there’s no cure. Average life expectancy is 2-3 years, though there are outliers that live much longer. I’ll be back on chemo in a few weeks, with the goal of pushing it back and keeping it there for as long as possible. I fully intend to be the outlier, the average is this way because most people that get this are old and not strong anymore. Who knows what they’ll come up with in the next decade? I intend to beat it for as long as possible. Gonna need some time to process all of this. I don’t really feel anything right now. Thanks.

In times of such hardship it is not uncommon to see adversity, empathy, and the inherent decency of human compassion lead to the burying of the hatchet and forgiveness for past grievances – such was the case with anti-ethics campaigners like @_MidnightPurple, who tweeted out these kind words of support:

@_MidnightPurple: Terminal cancer is not a good way to go but I still think it’s a net good that TotalBiscuit is probably going to die

@_MidnightPurple: OK so I’m glad a GG figurehead is dying and now I’m getting…harassment and death threats from GG…”

Tumblr poweruser, needlesslydefiantthou…, even went so far as to tumble some hashtags of support:

needlesslydefiantthou…: Totalbiscuit is dying? That’ll teach him not to be such a fucking bigot. #just my opinion #sorry not sorry #good riddance

It is times like these that are truly humbling, where ideological opponents can reach across the divide in order to mend fences. It is the kind of thing that restores one’s faith in humanity, and serves as a reminder that people will essentially pitch-in and help one another in order to weather the storm. With this kind of positive energy behind him, who knows what kind of recovery TotalBiscuit will be capable of? The best that Lusipurr.com can do is to wish him every success in beating the odds and one hopes that he is able to completely confound his prognosis!

It's good for the skin!

What a novel way to cool off!

Anime Spotlight:The Testament of Sister New Devil BURST

Fans of The Testament of Sister New Devil will no doubt be relieved to be back in the swing of things with the show’s second season, The Testament of Sister New Devil BURST. With the October 9th resumption of the Crunchyroll simulcast of the series, the show is currently two episodes into a ten episode run. Fans of the show may be deep into the second season, but for the rest of us now might be a good time to consider what is on offer by delving back through the previous twelve episodes, or even jumping on midway.

Basara Tōjō is a first year high school student and member of the hero clan, a group of people living in a mysterious hidden village. Basara’s father was previously acknowledged as the strongest hero in the village, and it is in this capacity he takes two teenage girls into his home as their protector – Mio and Maria. These are no ordinary girls, but rather demon daughters of the former [now deposed] Demon Lord, and Mio in particular is his heir and beneficiary of his powers. The girls are being safe-guarded by Basara’s father in order to prevent the current Demon Lord from growing any stronger. When trouble ensues and Basara saves Mio’s life, Maria, a succubus, performs a bonding spell on the two in order for them to know one-another’s location. Unbeknownst to Mio, Maria switched around the master-slave relationship of the bonding spell, so that Basara is the master in the relationship – moreover, because the spell was performed by a succubus, the penalty for disobedience is a powerful aphrodisiac effect which is only alleviated by Basara’s touch [which brings Mio to climax]. As Lusipurr.com readers can probably see, the potential for lewdness is substantial!
