Konami announced today that DanceDanceRevolution II, or Dance Dance Revolution Hottest Party 5 if you live in Europe, is now available for purchase on the Nintendo Wii and is rated E 10+.

DanceDanceRevolution II supports game play for one to four players and comes with easy pick-up-and-play controls for every level so beginners and experienced dancers can improve their “dance routines”. For new players to DanceDanceRevolution II, a “School Mode” offers an option that will let gamers become more experienced before facing more difficult dances. On the other side of the DDR coin, skilled players can show off their talent with the Challenge difficulty level and for an even extra challenge the new “Doubleplay Mode” allows a single player to play on two DDR mat controllers simultaneously. There is also a “Workout Mode” that lets dancers track their fitness progress and estimates the number of calories being burned. Wii owners can also use there Mii as a dancer so they can see a likeness of themselves or dance partners during gameplay.

DanceDanceRevolution II contains over 80 music tracks from big hits of the present day to memorable classics from the arcade versions as well as past console versions. Some of these songs include:

• “More Than Alive” / The Ready Set
