Valve has announced today that the new DLC for Portal 2 is available for download. Entitled Portal 2: Peer Review, this free DLC is available to all owners of Portal 2. It can be downloaded on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, and will be automatically downloaded for owners using Steam on Mac or PC.
In the Portal 2 co-op mode, players would join forces as the robots P-Body and Atlas, completing puzzles for GLaDOS as she led them through a plethora of challenges. From finding data disks outside of the testing grounds to testing out the latest puzzles, these poor robots are put through a lot at the mercy of GLaDOS. In Portal 2: Peer Review, These robots see their return. Once more working for GLaDOS, P-Body and Atlas will have to work their way through a mysterious new puzzle and once again match wits with their creator. The free DLC will also include single player and co-op challenge modes, with leaderboards so players can brag about their scores with their friends or with other players online.
To celebrate the release of Portal 2: Peer Review, Portal 2 is now on sale on Steam for 50% off of the retail price until Thursday at 4pm PT.
