“Arrogance. They all want to make it their own creation.’
^That. You see this constantly with remakes. Drives me insane. This is especially noticeable when the west tries to reinvent a franchise. We saw it with ‘vania. We saw it with DMC. We’ll no doubt see it with whatever they get their hands on next.

I also have to agree with Julian, that core feminism -has- become monstrous. And for all the arguments about what a ‘real’ feminist is, their media (such as the Mary Sue or Jezebel) sets the tone and is one of hate-mongering/gender supremacy/bigotry. I’m sure there’s plenty of level headed women who consider themselves feminists and do not engage in the frequent hate rhetoric I see daily across social media, but as it stands, they are in the minority and not representative of how third wave feminism appears to the wider world.

Gotta side with Julian yet again on Lightning Returns. It’s a bigger, more open world. XIII-2 are levels. Sizable levels, but there’s more a sense of wandering around contained areas, whereas Lightning Returns is modules popped into a bigger map, giving it wider, more open areas. I got lost in the wildlands.

On a closing note, thank heavens for Iga’s Bloodstained, Marvelous Entertainment, From Software and other Japanese developers who still remember that games are supposed to be about fun.

Oh, and Bully Ranger would be awesome.

The Witcher 3 is a FAR bigger game than Final Fantasy VII was, and that’s only on one disk. I smell shenanigans.

I have missed so many of these that I decided to just skip this segment entirely, rather than spoil myself on something that I’m sure I’ll read eventually.

    Imitanis Gaming Entertainment? Moment
I dunno if I shared my last D&D story, but I hope to return to it in the coming weeks. The party stormed a tower in a blizzard and fought off some ice elementals.

I really haven’t played anything for weeks. I picked up Legend of Legacy a while ago, but haven’t even played that recently, though I do enjoy it. Maybe if I get some Christmas spending money then I’ll pick up Xenoblade Chronicals X.

Time to download past episodes and just skip to the readings! They’re each roughly 15-25min long, so you can get caught up quickly.

Maybe if I get some Christmas spending money then I’ll pick up Xenoblade Chronicals X.
SiliconNooB et al. will suggest you buy used to avoid supporting the censorship practises of N and Friends. I would encourage a similar route, if possible. BUT ONLY IF YOU HAVE PLAYED AXIOM VERGE FIRST–it’s my choice for Game of the Year.

    No travel this week.

I look forward to seeing TSM turning into an anti-Square Enix podcast, that should be a barrel of laughs.

As for Capcom, censorship sucks and if they don’t want my money, I will gladly not buy their game. Simple as that.

Thanks for another excellent show gentlemen.
