I haven’t listened to the podcast yet, but I bet my part was amazing. You’re welcome.

@Bup: No one said thank you and I doubt anyone agrees.

    Mel
    Lusipurr

    Horns
I thought that movie was pretty awful. Danny R. was fine I guess, but it was hard to notice when the rest of the film was so filled to the brim with shit.

    Upcoming Feature
    FFV Playthrough

    NEWS
Don Mattrick leaves Zynga, stocks tank
    Sounds about right.

    Preserving old games is illegal-ESA
This sucks and I wish it weren’t the case, but I understand most of the point. If you’re in education or are a historian then it makes sense, but otherwise I can see why they wouldn’t want you to do this.

    Bup Talk
What did Bup play this week?
    Wow, a distraction free segment!

    Imitanis Literature Corner
    Tintern Abbey,William Wordsworth

I could only hear half of this because one of the panellists decided to go for a blustery stroll in the middle of it…

    Imitanis Gaming Moment
I played nothing, but I did listen tostreaming classical music for quite a while. It’s good working music.
I also paid my taxes, woo.

    DiceAdmiral Travel Moment
    Stayed home this time.

    Final Notes
I understand the breaks from the novels, but I find it really hard to get into the poetry. I think SN said something along the lines of it being hard to really get into from a live reading and I really agree with that.

    Final Quotes
“As all of my great ideas, if I were to do it it would result in me being arrested.”

The exception being requested from the copyright office, which is what the ESA is fighting against, is specifically for Academics and Museums. It is not for general members of the public.

I believe that was SN. It won’t be happening again. I’ve spoken to the panelists about this before and it appears he has forgotten.

I demand up-to-the-minute details of your in-home travel. How far have you walked in your house today? How many trips to the bathroom, the kitchen, the garage?

I think SN said something along the lines of it being hard to really get into from a live reading and I really agree with that.
I think this has more to do with the poetry selected than the genre itself. Wordsworth wrote in a style that really demands to be read and thought about and pondered and read again. Next week, I’ll have something a little easier to follow.

Also, I have a special announcement next week on this topic. :)

The Bats vs. Supes trailer has me tingling a bit. Raises a few questions right off the bat, too. Is Bats jealous that humanity no longer needs him? Does he have access to kryptonite? Is there prep time!???!?!?!?

@Lusi: That’s not a kind of detail that I keep track of.

@Bek: That’s the first confirmation I’ve had that anyone actually clicks the “This Week’s Panel” Link. The trailer has me excited too. It’s effective.
