SabinFeature: FFX playthrough
Surprise, the game is still pretty bad. I have no idea why the site playthrough is of a game no one seems to like. You didn’t mention that the director also has a fascination with butts. They are quite often in center frame.Cricket news

I played a game of Dominant Species. I was the mammals but had basically no idea what I was doing and was totally thrashed. I dunno if worker placement games are really my thing. -
I can always get behind criticism of the story and voice acting in FFX. I was laughing in massive quantities with regards to the description of Titus. It was glorious.

NEWS FROM THE CIV V FRONTLINES!
Edinburgh has fallen! Cardiff was also claimed by Egyptian forces shortly thereafter. The Egyptian battle fleet has blockaded the main Polynesian bay and crippled what navy they had. The Japanese are slowly putting themselves back together and may be able to lend brief assistance to Egypt before the outright domination of the Polynesian and Incan capitals. Victory is within sight! -
I wasn’t expecting Chris Privitere but it was a nice surprise that he appeared out of the blue in the middle of the podcast :D. Great, great podcast .

@Lusipurr: The minister of finess is always fine to hear :D, too bad is not enough to listen to rpgcast since there is no cricket or poetry ( for some weird reason I enjoyed the poetry part this time)

I enjoyed the show, whatever format it’s in. Don’t ever feel the need to tone yourself down, or censor yourself for your listeners. Most of us are here because we liked what we heard in the first place. By that same token, I understand that you need to build a bigger audience to help support the site. I’d also like to say that if it ever came to ‘run ads or close site’, I wouldn’t stop visiting or change my opinion of the content because there’s a couple of banners here and there. Do what you must to keep getting by.
The discussion over MMOs we had in the comments last week, coupled with the news stories of this week (such as today’s Occulus Rift/Facebook joint) has shifted my views on gaming in an unexpected fashion. The ‘widgets’ talk has given me a new view on the market, and one that’s not favorable. I was not pleased with the advent of the DLC mechanic. Nor the Pay to Wins. Nor the Free to Play craze (which we know to be anything but). And it’s just not going to stop. The gaming world I fell in love with isn’t even there anymore. And as I look ahead, all I can see is a return of the arcade, in a new form. A perpetual pay to play experience, where you pop the credit card weekly for the latest fix. And I begin to wonder just how much longer my fascination with this culture will last. It’s certainly nowhere near what it was even a decade ago.

@Wolfe – I couldn’t agree more with you about the banners and Lusipurr.
-
I’m not advocating for you to put up ads. I’m simply stating that I’d rather visit and see ads than not see this site operational. And for what it’s worth, I run a few ads on my site, and they’ve had absolutely no bearing on me or my content whatsoever. But then, it’s not a gaming site, so I don’t need worry about advertisers trying to meddle in my affairs.
-
Wellthen, I hope that the site continues to garner interest and contributors. And for what it’s worth, you needn’t feel boxed in by gaming related topics. As I’ve said, it’s the personality that make the site. My favorite parts of even this show is just listening to your panel ramble about whatever is topical.

I’m very much looking forward to that!
