Sadly, given how XIII ended, I’m oddly hopeful that XIII-2 won’t just be a combat pipe. I’m sure they’ll find other ways to disappoint us, though :D

There were definitely admirable things about FFXIII. It just took 60 hours to get there.
I am entirely apathetic toward XIII-2. I’ll have to see a lot more to have an opinion either way.

Gambits were #@%&ing retarded. I don’t know if it was beaucase I said (explitive deleted) Hunts after like the third one when I was sent to that sewer you meet Asche (however it’s spelled) to find a white flan that was nowhere to be found, but I never had enough money. So I guess I needed to spend more time running back and forth spamming Steal and murdering foxes or something, but having to buy the Gambits pissed me off. Adding to that that I could never find a decent mix of them that allowed me to not have to micromanage. Why couldn’t they give me all HP and MP percentages or whatever in Rabanastre?
