XSEED Games is pleased to announce that with each first run copy of Solatorobo: Red The Hunter will include a soundtrack CD which features twenty-four of the games whimsical scores, players will be able to obtain Solatorobo as well as the soundtrack when the game ships in September of this year.
Solatorobo is set high above the clouds of the Shepherd Republic, which features a picturesque setting filled with vibrant and original art style that is sure to please. In the game, players take to the skies in airships and explore the various floating islands that each offer a distinct atmosphere and highly stylized environments. As an adventurer-for-hire, the player takes on the persona of Red Savarin as he treks through the skies. A few of his group of companions include Red’s personal Robo DAHAK, Red’s adoptive sister Chocolat Gelato, and the mysterious old cat-girl Elh Melizée who was rescued by Red from a burning airship. Together they will be unknowingly dragged into a sinister plot to resurrect an ancient threat. At the center of this plot is the leader of the Kurvaz organization, Bruno Dondurma, a dog-like renegade who operates on the edge of the law and isn’t afraid to take down those who openly oppose him. At Bruno’s side is the faithful cat-like Opéra Kranz. Kranz is usually seen with her subordinates, Calua Napage and Gren Sacher, all of whom are armed to the teeth with Robo-Mechs of varying types. Together they are a formidable opposition that Red and friends will have to take down in order to protect the world and stop the Kranz organizations evil plan to take over the world.
