We don’t promise to bring you the first reviews of the hottest games. We don’t promise to have the latest screenshots from the most obscure magazines. We don’t even promise to be relevant most of the time. But, when we do actually get around to the topic, you can be certain that we’ll be insightful, critical, and even-handed in our approach. If you want twenty pages of expostulation on the control scheme for Gears of War 2, this isn’t the weblog for you. But if you want the nitty-gritty, the straight dope, the real deal–if you want to know what really matters, then you are in the right place.
We have a weekly podcast to keep you up-to-date with everything worth knowing, and if you want us to check into something for you (i.e. Is Fable 2 worth buying? What’s the coolest cellphone available right now? What’s the deal with the next Fullmetal Alchemist series?) all you have to do is ask. Catering to the community voice is our prime directive. Let the silent, huddled, weeping masses see to themselves.
