And I have some understanding for them, it’s a bit confusing especially since there’s no good or agreed upon name for referring to these games collectively.

But when I read things like “Bloodborne is just a Dark Souls rip-off” I REALLY just lose my words. I… I’d rather just not bother to explain it, it tires me at the mere thought.

I -had- planned to purchase it after finishing off my preorder for the Witcher 3 next week and still look at videos of it with reluctance. I can’t justify supporting a company that dumps their responsibility to stand up to censorship in the lap of a contributor who spent 500 bucks on a piece of the game that was not only stripped, but done so with the side effect of putting him at the center of the circus. Western developers, by and large have become a bunch of money chasing, spineless pussies, and I’m sick of it.
