I’d look to the WiiU as a positive alternative, but they seem to be touting action figures as gameplay these days.

LOL that’s a bit more bleak than I thought it was. This is the very first console generation I’ve kept clear of early-on (I got a Wii U a year after release) and it looks like it was a pretty good decision.

It wasn’t for any large measure of restraint on my part, though. Even the console I did buy I admit was barely justifiable. There’s a couple nice games on the PS4 and even on the Bone, but I can’t even recall what they are right now.

The system update is a temporary fix and I download it every time. I feel like it’s getting deleted or lost somehow because I have to repeat the same process every time. The planned revision should fix this problem entirely. They tweeted about it yesterday and no news since from what I can tell. I would definitely wait for the fix to be released.
