I do love me some Peach. (no subtext)

Ness is my favourite, and has been since original Smash.

The stuff I read about it on Joystiq was ‘muted’, shall we say? Our discussion on the podcast this week hit upon the real NUB of the issue (pun intended): they should have put another circle pad there. Why didn’t they? So that they have the option of doing that in yet another iterative hardware revision in a year or so. Dastardly!

And I’m hearing surprisingly positive things about the N3DS nub out of TGS, despite the rather obvious ploy to keep old 3DS users from having a better alternative to the new hardware.

Not every 3DS user has an Ashtray (in fact, most people do not).

Seems odd that they support the 3DS version in this, but not the CirclePad Pro… :/

I destroyed everyone over and over again with Ness. I think his friends concluded from this that I was a bit of a dick.

I’m horrible at fighting games in general and Smash is no exception. So I’ll play it for like a week, probably go online or play with friends like once, and then never touch it again.

A lot of his moves, unsurprisingly, are projectiles and so are pretty vulnerable to the many ways in which other characters can reflect or absorb them. His forward smash is even a projectile! However, his air game is quite good and he’s got a very satisfying spike.

STUPID!
