It looks like decisions taken by desperate chickens about to be headless, clean and sent to the oven .

SN – Keep these microsoft news related articles coming, they are excelent and give me such a fuzzy, warming heart feeling xD . Great article!

If it is true that Microsoft would have to pay a fee to change their contracts, I fail to see how it is good business sense to do so, assuming they think they can sell all their surplus eventually (which might be a terrible assumption). I suppose the reason could be that they want to minimize their losses in the short term, either to please investors or to spin their numbers later in the year to make them look something more like pure profit, but that seems like a terrible way to maximize overall profits.

I had no idea Zynga has been falling that far that quickly. More heart-warming news.

I am quite sad that I did not hear about the wealth of classics available for Vita while they were still live. I would have been one of many, I’m sure, to fork over a load of money to get a lot of these games on my favorite portable gaming solution. Come on Sony, suck it up and get your classics licensed so you can make a buttload of money already.

Great post as always, SN!

Still, I agree that Zynga is bad value proposition in every sense of the phrase and would probably serve as more of a last resort acquisition for Google and Amazon.

It’s too obviously a bad value proposition. However, with FaceBook’s recent acquisition of EyeWall (neé Oculus Rift), they might want some shitty games to go with their shitty peripheral.

Look forward to FarmVille 3D, coming soon!

An added benefit of Zynga’s collapse is the tumbling of King’s share price shortly after its recent IPO. I think it is only a matter of time until Zynga is bought out by either Google, Facebook, or Amazon.
