Blizzard employs what are genuinely some of the worst writers in the industry.

I know they are very profitable, but they produce awful, awful, hackneyed tripe.

I saw the blowback against D3 vanilla and avoided it. However, seeing it now discounted to 20 bucks until RoS comes out, in addition to other improvements to the game, I think it’s time for me to jump in.

However, the cheapskate in me will not allow me to get RoS until I can get it at a discount. Yes, I’m that much of a penny pincher.

And while I take issue with the stories Blizzard tells with their stories, Chris Metzen cannot write to save his neckbeared life!, they know how to make fun games that you want to play, even if the writing and dialogue makes you want to stab forks into your eyes and ears.

Diablo 3 is giving me grief right now. I recently lost a second level sixty hardcore character because the server went a little wonky (a friend lost his as well). The extra experience is great, but I might wait a few days after the expansion to try it out.

I bought seven card packs for Hearthstone, but wish I hadn’t. I mostly use cards from unlocking full decks, and earning card parks through the arena is usually fairly easy.
