People that had a DOA Xbone are basically being told to get fucked.

Sony has a 7-10 day turnaround after receiving console while Microsoft has a turnaround time of 12-19 days.

I think Sony changed their policy for DOA PS4s for the time being. It’s pretty shitty to get home and realize a $400 purchase doesn’t work.

This is only second hand information, mind – I’m just going off of a conversation I had with Lusipurr.

Is it common practise for Microsoft (or Sony & Nintendo) to do such things, seems like punishing customer / user loyalty somewhat.

I bet they’ve made it an extremely long and repetitive grind to get to the point of unlocking those cars without spending money. That makes me mad. I don’t mind when there is extra stuff you can buy on PSN but I never want to see offers for ANYTHING while I’m in the game.

That Xbone Skype thing sounds pretty crappy. I hope some people who supported the all digital, always online stuff are learning a lesson from this.
